RUDY

Rudy is 6.5 years old pure breed energetic JRT with a white body and black spots on his ears as you can see in his picture.  Broken coat.
Neutered and micro chipped and current on all shots, I can provide the paper work.
Heels very well on walks and is completely housebroken.  He responds very well to food incentives in training.
He loves chew bones and likes to play tug of war.
He is prey aggressive so he should not be placed in a home with cats etc.  Another dog, if it is his size and who is not dominate would probably be fine.

 Dakota

Here is some information about my Jack Russell, Dakota. He is a 4 year old neutered male and is current on all of his shots. He is a tricolor, short legged. English version. He likes to watch TV, go for rides in the car, play tug o’ war, chase balls, toys, and a laser. He enjoys going to the dog park and going for walks, etc. Dakota is very intelligent and knows approximately 40 words, including basic obedience commands and heel, although, I don't use them much. He also knows several tricks.

Dakota lives with 3 other dogs, three of which belong to my sister. One is a 15 year old fragile 5 lb Yorkie. The others are a llaso and a Wire Fox Terrier that I adopted to keep Dakota company when I wasn't home. They get along great as long as no food is involved. Dakota is can be aggressive when it comes to food and bones. It is not practical to keep them separated when they are not eating. A crumb of food might be found somewhere in the house and then there will be a dog fight.

I had a great paying part time job when I got Dakota and thought there was no reason it wouldn't continue. It gave me lots of time for him. Then that all changed when I lost my job and had to get a full time job. This causes Dakota to be neglected which is unfair to him. Dakota should be in a home with no other animals. They should also have no small children because he would take food out of their hands. 12 yrs or older would be good. He requires a lot of exercise and will not stay in a crate except for a short period of time. He wants to only sleep in a bed with the person he loves. Dakota is a very loving member of the family and I hate to place him in a new home but circumstances beyond my control force me to have to find him a new home.

Dakota is slightly shy and needs some one with a kind touch to teach him what they want him to learn. He is not an off leash dog as he will chase squirrels etc. This means that you can not leave gates and doors open. I would like to find a home where at least one person is home most of the day. I will include his bowls, toys, leash, collar and the book “The Dog Whisperer” which has helped me a great deal. If you have any questions you can reach me at 818 772-9252. Thank you for any help that you can give me in finding a home for this great little loving dog.

Ripley

Broken coat, male/neutered, current on all shots, and about 3 1/2 years old.  His owner gave him up as she stated " I love him, but I have no time to spend with him".  From my understanding he has been passed around to several homes of which none were equipped or prepared to handle the needs of a dog.  He spent the majority of his life in an apartment, which is apparent from his insecurity to outside sounds.   I was told he is picky about his dog friends, but seems to be doing okay with mine.  It is possible that as he becomes more secure in my home he might show dominance. Loves the companionship of people and enjoys sitting on your lap.  Was also told he is food aggressive, so I feed him separate from my dogs.  If he is true to his breed, no cats.  Also enjoys playing with his toys, which he can do for hours entertaining himself.   Would love to see him go to an adult (kids 14 and older) home with someone who is familiar with this breed.  For more information, please contact Arlene Ober 818 708-2797 or email oberarlo@aol.com .  I require application and home delivery along with a fee.
